Session One:

This 1:1 45-minute session with a Personal Trainer is composed of a tour of the facility, creating achievable fitness goals, and completing a brief demo of fitness equipment. During this time, you will learn tips for fitness progress and how to safely adjust equipment for your needs, while building comfort and confidence within the space.

Session Two:

Session Two is an optional follow up session ($25) that can be booked after completing the Fitness Orientation. This is a dedicated time to ask specific questions to the Personal Trainer about proper form for equipment usage or specific movements, while also discussing the previously set fitness goals.

Buddy Training

Make your sessions even more fun by signing up with a buddy who enjoys doing similar activities. Both you and your buddy will purchase the desired package on your online account and sign up with your favorite Trainer online. The first session will require each client to meet individually with the Trainer for 30 min to discuss specific goals; the Trainer will then create a program tailored to you and your buddy’s goals.

Prices for Buddy Personal Training are the cost per person. Each individual must purchase the desired package under their own online account.

Membership

All Fitness programming is for Seattle University Members: Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni and their partners or dependents. We do not serve the community at this time.

First Session

A training package needs to be purchased before the Initial Consultation can be scheduled and take place. The Initial Consultation is required before any exercise can begin.

Cancellations & No Shows

All sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance or the session will be forfeited. 

Refunds

All Fitness packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Facility Policies 

We require all of our clients and participants to follow our facility policies, which include wearing closed-toed, athletic shoes and athletic apparel. 

 

1 Session Package

Good for those who want to meet with a Trainer to answer specific questions about their current fitness program or for those looking to add to their existing package.

3 Session Package

Ideal for those who are looking to have a specific workout plan created for them. First session consists of an initial consultation which includes goal setting and a detailed account of health and exercise history. The Trainer will then create a specific program based on the client’s needs. The second and third sessions will include going through the workout. This package is also great for those who may be unsure about committing to working with a Personal Trainer. Try it out and see what you think! Clients will also receive a 10% off discount per session on this package!

5 Session Package

This package is a great option for those looking to continue or begin a fitness program. Regardless of how long you plan to work with a Trainer, this package is a great place to start for those who want to make exercise a part of their regular routine.  Clients will also receive a 15% off discount per session on this package!

10 Session Package

Our most popular package, this package is great for those who are looking to work with a Personal Trainer regularly and commit to achieving their goals!  Clients will receive a 20% off discount per session on this package.

Personalized Fitness Orientation

New to UREC or new to exercising? Sign up for our FREE Personalized Fitness Orientation to learn about the space, equipment and set goals with a Personal Trainer.
